Welcome to HAFTA Surveying's homepage. We are a seismic surveying company based in Missoula, MT.
Our MissionHAFTA's goal is to give our clients the very best product as quickly and effectively as possible. HAFTA boast's an experience level in seismic surveying unmatched by none.
Company ProfileAlthough HAFTA Surveying has been in business for only 1 1/2 years we have had experience in this field for over 24 years. We are currently contracted to Western Geophysical, out of Anchorage AK. We had provided all of the surveying experience for NGA for the past year. We also have taken on some OBC positioning using I/Os Sentry, OPUS & Census. HAFTA Surveying consists of the following people: Brad Cutler - Owner. Brad started out in the recording area of the industry and eventually he made his way into the surveying end of the business. He has worked for several companies thoughout his career, including: Sefel Geophysical, Benco Surveying and Geco-Prakla. Boyd Erbele - Senior Surveyor. Boyd started his seismic career with a contractor who supplied people for Texaco. He spent several years with this organization and worked his way up to be their senior surveyor. He has also spent some time with Benco and Geco-Prakla. Steve Cook - Senior Surveyor. Steve started in the seismic business in one of the harshest environments on the planet. His first assignment was the North Slope of Alaska in the dead of winter. This has become his speciality over the course of the past few years and he has also spent time on the water in several positions. He has experience in the Gulf of Mexico area as a navigator and also on the slope doing Quality Control.
